The “Atomexpo-Belarus” Forum was held in Minsk. The main topics were the NPP construction in Belarus and the Russian nuclear technologies. This year Russia and Belarus have signed an intergovernmental agreement on nuclear safety cooperation. This document established the legal platform for the two countries’ partnership which is not only NPP building, but also creating the whole infrastructure for the future plant construction and operation.
