Nuclear power industry to continue growth
By tradition, heads of nuclear companies came to London in early September for the World Nuclear Association Symposium. Rosatom representatives were among 600 nuclear industry leaders from 30 countries. Rosatom Group companies participated in the exhibition and conference. The Russian delegation was headed by Kirill Komarov, Rosatom Deputy CEO for Corporate Development and International Business, who took part in the high panel session.

Cooperation going forward
Rusatom Overseas Inc. and the Indonesian National Nuclear Energy Agency (BATAN) signed a memorandum of understanding on the construction of large-capacity nuclear power plants and floating nuclear power stations in Indonesia.

On the brink of discoveries
The Research Institute of Atomic Reactors (RIAR) in Dimitrovgrad has begun the construction of a multi-functional Gen IV research fast breeder reactor (MBIR). MBIR is a project of global importance to become one of the most powerful research reactors under construction and in operation globally.

In the focus of attention
Over 2,000 delegates from 160 countries took part in this year's IAEA General Conference. The Russian delegation was in the focus of attention of the world’s largest nuclear event. Rosatom CEO Sergei Kirienko spoke at the plenary session of the General Conference among the key IAEA members and for the first time participated in the scientific forum.
