Getting Ready to Launch
The first unit of Novovoronezh NPP-2 is planned to be launched in 2014 and then the construction of the second phase is to follow immediately. That’s what Rosatom General Director, Sergey Kiriyenko, said during his visit to the construction site together with Alexey Gordeev, Governor of the Voronezh region and Evgeny Romanov, Head of Rosenergoatom. They visited the reactor building of unit 1, examined the turbine hall and the SF-gas insulated cubicle switch-board. The course of work was reported quite satisfactory.
