Universe in the lab
A nuclotron-based ion collider facility (NICA) is now under construction at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) in Dubna (Russia). Often called a universe in the lab, such facilities give a better understanding of what was happening in the universe almost 14 billion years ago right after the Big Bang. Apart from fundamental studies, NICA will help Rosatom with applied research.

Russia and Cambodia will establish a working group to promote civil nuclear cooperation between the countries.

VVER-1200 reactor head for the Belarusian NPP has successfully passed hydraulic tests at Atommash (a subsidiary of Rosatom's nuclear engineering division).

Nuclear event in Bangladesh
Rosatom's engineering group ASE organized the Kids and Atom event in Dhaka to celebrate the Independence Day of Bangladesh and presented a children's book on nuclear energy, the Atomic Alphabet.
Monitoring risks
Risk monitoring achievements were discussed by 33 experts from seven countries (Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic) in a seminar organized at the Leningrad NPP.

At Archimedes, Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies held in early April, the Mining and Chemical Plant presented its innovative project, a Ni-63 production technology for beta cells.
