Rosatom to Supply TVS-K Fuel Assemblies to Sweden
TVEL Fuel Company signed its first commercial contract for the supply of nuclear fuel for Western-designed pressurized water reactors. The buyer is Swedish power company Vattenfall that has been testing TVS-K assemblies since 2011. The importance of this contract cannot be overestimated as it offers TVEL an opportunity to enter a vast global market of 235 operating PWR reactors.
