By the end of this year Rosatom is planning to make an agreement concerning construction of the Hanhikivi NPP on the north of Finland, near Pyhäjoki. The scheme suggests the Corporation comes in for the Finnish Fennovoima, provides part of investments, builds the station and therefore uses part of the produced energy. The negotiations are carried out by Rusatom Overseas, Rosatom’s promoter abroad. At the beginning of November the site was visited by the Russian delegation.
