A fuel of contention
The Fuel Company of ROSATOM TVEL may file a claim to protect its business reputation against the US’ Westinghouse Electric Co. The conflict was triggered by a judgment on the Russian nuclear fuel quality voiced by the company’s Vice President Michael Kirst. The Ukrainian periodical Delo published an interview with the top executive, which says that TVEL’s fuel caused damages to that of Westinghouse during their combined operation in South Ukrainian NPP in 2012.
