MBIR at length
Late September, at the IAEA General Conference in Vienna, ROSATOM held an official presentation of the International Research Center with the multi-purpose fast neutron reactor MBIR, which is planned to build in the Research Institute of Atomic Reactors in Dimitrovgrad. The center will study new types of nuclear fuel, structural materials, and coolants. The reactor will also be used for production of radioisotopes for medical purposes. Alexander Tuzov, Head of Innovations Management and MBIR Project Director, unveil the project details in his interview.
ROSATOM took part in the World Nuclear Exhibition
The event was held in Le Bourget (France). ROSATOM’s companies displayed their technologies at the united display booth of the Corporation. Besides, ROSATOM announced launching its regional center in Western Europe with the Headquarters in Paris.
