EIA approved
The Akkuyu NPP construction project passed an important milestone. The Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning approved the EIA of the plant. Based on the review results, the document was recognized as compliant with the format stipulated by the Turkish law on the EIA.

The base for cooperation
ROSATOM works to set up a world-class international research center in Dimitrovgrad. The center is to base on the multi-purpose research fast neutron reactor MBIR. The construction phase will start in spring 2015.
