Rosatom goes to the Middle East
On Tuesday Jordan and Russia signed the intergovernmental cooperation agreement on construction of the first NPP in the kingdom. It creates the regulatory base for the plant construction with participation of Russia. Sergey Kiriyenko, General Director of Rosatom, and Khaled Toukan, the chairman of the Jordan Atomic Energy Commission, signed the documents.

Eye for the synchrotron
The All-Russia Scientific Research Institute of Inorganic Materials (VNIINM, which is a part of Rosatom fuel division) manufactured the first experimental prototypes of X-ray optic devices of refractive type for focusing of synchrotron and X-ray radiation.

Hungary has agreed with the European Union concerning fuel delivery for Paks NPP-2. Now all obstacles for construction in Hungary of a nuclear power plant by Rosatom experts have been overcome.
