IAEA experts visited AECP and IUEC
Yukiya Amano, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), visited Angarsk Electrolysis Chemical Plant and International Uranium Enrichment Centre (IUEC). Yukiya Amano arrived in Russia on the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Apart from the participation in the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, Mr. Amano visited Angarsk to inspect the IUEC, a storage site for the low-enriched uranium (LEU) reserve maintained by Russia under the auspices of IAEA.
