NSR. As of September 30, the volume of transit cargo transportation along the Northern Sea Route amounted to more than 1.440 million tons.  This is almost 160,000 tons more than in the entire 2020.  The main cargo is iron concentrate and coal.  Most of the cargo ships’ were flying Chinese flags.


WPP.  Since the start of operation of its first wind farm, Rosatom has supplied 1 million megawatt-hours of electricity to the Russian energy grid.  Today, there are five Rosatom wind power stations in the south of Russia with the total installed capacity of 660 MW.  The construction of another station – Medvezhenskaya – with a capacity of 60 MW will be completed by the end of this year.

Belarusian NPP.  “Hot” testing of the reactor was successfully completed at the Belarusian NPP Unit 2. It is a large-scale stage of the start-up process. More than 260 tests have been carried out with the main goal to confirm the compliance of the equipment with the design characteristics.  The first unit was put into commercial operation in June 2021.
