Akkuyu. Installation of the turbine condenser began at the turbine hall of Akkuyu Unit 1. The condenser arrived at the construction site to Turkey from Russia disassembled. After the assembly is completed, the length of the condenser will be 25 meters and the weight will be more than 1000 tons. All four Akkuyu NPP units with VVER-1200 reactors are under construction. More than 25,000 people are employed at the site with 80% of them are Turkish citizens.
