Akkuyu  NPP. Sberbank, Russia’s largest bank, will provide Akkuyu Nuclear (part  of Rosatom) with a loan of USD 800 mln for 7 years for the construction  of the Akkuyu NPP in Turkey. “Russian banks are supporting a  sustainable, low-carbon power generation project and are eagerly  responding to our debt financing needs. We are glad that Sberbank is our  long-term and reliable partner,” said Anton Dedusenko, Akkuyu Nuclear  Managing Director for Sustainable Development and Relations with  Shareholders. Earlier in 2019, Sberbank opened a credit line for Akkuyu  Nuclear worth USD 400 mln for 7 years.
