Rosatom supplied equipment for automated process control systems (APCS), communication systems and electrical equipment to the Akkuyu NPP under construction in Turkey. “The delivery included all the equipment necessary for the implementation of the key event,” said Vitaly Misuragin, Managing Director of the APCS Product Line of RASU (part of Rosatom). Dmitry Zhoga, head of the Akkuyu NPP APCS project office of RASU, said that all the equipment had already passed the input control at the construction site. Inspectors of the Nuclear Regulatory Agency of the Republic of Turkey participate in the surveillance audits of all supplied products. Upon delivery and passing the incoming control procedure, installation supervision and commissioning supervision begin. The Akkuyu NPP project includes four power units with VVER-1200 reactors.
