Atommash (part of the Rosatom machine-building division) has manufactured the upper semi-hull for Akkuyu NPP Unit 3 in Turkey. The weight of the billet is 180 tons. Specialists performed automatic welding of two circumferential seams for 22 days with continuous heating over 150 degrees of welded joints. Akkuyu NPP in Turkey will include four power units with Russian VVER-1200 reactors.
