Belarusian NPP. The second unit of the plant was put into commercial operation. This is the first nuclear station with VVER-1200 reactors built abroad and fully completed by Rosatom. With the installed capacity of 2,400 MW, the two units of the Belarus NPP will meet about 40% of the country’s power needs to bring Belarus to the ranks of global leaders by the share of nuclear in its energy mix.
