CNTRD in Bolivia. The first key facilities of the Center for Nuclear Research and Technology were put into trial operation in El Alto, Bolivia: a preclinical cyclotron-radiopharmacological complex and a multi-purpose irradiation center.  The first is intended for the production of radiopharmaceuticals for cancer diagnosis. The second is made for the disinfection of agricultural raw materials, food products and medical devices.  The construction of laboratories and a reactor complex with a pressurized water research reactor continues at the site.  The CNTRD will be commissioned in 2025.
