Collaboration. Rosatom and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) continue to maintain active contacts. In early June, Rosatom took part in the agency’s forum on innovative nuclear reactors and fuel cycles. Representatives of the Russian nuclear corporation shared insights from operating the Akademik Lomonosov floating nuclear power plant, the current status of its projects, and the potential for deploying floating power units both in Russia and abroad. The forum also discussed approaches to preparing IAEA documents on the deployment of floating nuclear power plants. In late May, a Russian delegation participated in the International Conference on Stakeholder Engagement for Nuclear Power Programs held by the IAEA. One of the most prominent at the event, the delegation brought together experts from Rosatom, municipal authorities, and public organizations. Its members shared Russia’s experience in improving public acceptance of nuclear energy.
