Construction sites. ZiO-Podolsk (part of Rosatom’s mechanical engineering division) has manufactured a set of four suppression pools for the reactor halls of all four power units of the El Dabaa NPP, which Rosatom is building in Egypt. The suppression pool is designed to condense steam coming from the pressurizer and other primary circuit systems. Meanwhile, another Rosatom production site, PetrozavodskMash, has manufactured the first set of pipeline valves for the reactor buildings of the new power units of the El Dabaa NPP. Sixteen high- and low-pressure check valves have been shipped to the construction site. A total of 220 pipeline valves will be manufactured for the power plant’s four reactor units. The El Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant will have four power units with Russian-designed VVER-1200 reactors. The reactor for the first unit has already been delivered to the site.
