Construction sites. ZiO-Podolsk (part of Rosatom) manufactured and shipped the second low-pressure heater for the Akkuyu NPP Unit 1. The devices are horizontal heat exchangers connected in parallel to each other. They are installed in the transition pipe of the main condenser of the turbine. The heater provides heating of the main condensate to the required temperature and maintaining it at the required level. A pressurizer for the Indian nuclear power plant Kudankulam Unit 5 was manufactured at the Russian Izhore plant. The compensator belongs to the equipment of the primary circuit of the reactor and serves to create and maintain the pressure and volume of the coolant. During transient and emergency operation of the reactor plant, it is used to limit pressure fluctuations.
