Cooperation. Another round of inter-agency consultations between the Russian and IAEA delegations was held in Sochi. The parties discussed a wide range of issues, including the prospects of nuclear power development in Russia and worldwide. Safety of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant was in the center of attention. Rosatom chief Alexey Likhachev spoke about the steps taken by Russia to ensure safe operation of the plant, and about the contacts with IAEA experts regarding the facility. IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi presented the results of his visit to the nuclear plant in February. The parties confirmed their commitment to continue contacts.
