Education. Rosatom and the Higher University of San Andrés (Bolivia) held the first Science Festival in Latin America. The event was part of Rosatom’s global initiative to promote education and innovation, aimed at increasing interest in science and nuclear technology among Bolivian youth. More than 800 people from across the country participated in the festival. Representatives from the Tomsk Polytechnic University (Russia), Bolivian Nuclear Energy Agency (ABEN), and Rosatom delivered lectures on scientific topics. Festival attendees also took part in educational games and activities. “This year marks the 80th anniversary of Russia’s nuclear industry, and we at Rosatom, one of the pioneers in this field, understand better than anyone the importance of passing knowledge to younger generations,” said Juan Bedolla, Head of Rosatom’s office in Bolivia. “This is our top priority, because the young people we educate today will shape our shared future tomorrow.”
