Electric transport. Rosatom and BKM Holding, a leading Belarusian manufacturer of urban electric transport, will jointly develop electric transport. At the International Exhibition Eurasia is Our Home, RENERA (Rosatom’s integrator in the field of energy storage systems), BKM Holding and Rusatom Bel (Rosatom’s country office in Belarus) signed an agreement on strategic cooperation. “Russian lithium-ion batteries are characterized by reliability and safety. Due to their high energy intensity, the cruising range is up to 70 km, which makes it possible to organize new transport routes and make the movement of passengers comfortable and safe,” said Alexander Kamashev, head of RENERA. In 2022, RENERA and BKM Holding entered into an agreement for the supply of lithium-ion batteries for 97 trolleybuses with increased autonomy.
