Finance. At the beginning of December, the placement of green bonds of Rosatom (the issuer is JSC Atomenergoprom, part of Rosatom) with a maturity of 3 years, in the amount of 9 billion rubles (143 million dollars) was completed. Rosatom plans to use the proceeds from the issue to refinance investments in the construction of wind power plants with a capacity of 375 MW. The issue was verified by the Expert RA agency for compliance with the principles of green bonds (GBP) of the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) and the criteria of a green financial instrument. The issue is expected to be included in the green bonds segment of the Moscow Exchange. Earlier in 2021, Atomenergoprom placed green bonds of series 001P-01 with a maturity of 5 years and a volume of 10 billion rubles.
