Floating nuclear power plants. The hull of the first floating power unit based on the RITM-200 reactor was laid down. The laying took place at a shipyard in China. The hull will be delivered to Russia by the end of 2023 for the completion and installation of power equipment. This is the first of four nuclear floating power units with an installed electric capacity of 106 MW each, intended for operation in northern Russia. At the same time, Russia is already manufacturing equipment for a nuclear power plant for all four floating power units.
