Fuel.  Rosatom has shipped the first batch of fuel for the Chinese CFR-600  fast neutron reactor. This is China’s flagship project in the field of  fast nuclear. Two more shipments, enough for the initial load and the  first reloading of the CFR-600, have been scheduled for 2022. The  Chinese fast reactor will operate at the Xiapu nuclear power plant Unit  1. When the unit is launched, the Xiapu NPP will become the second  nuclear power plant in the world with an industrial fast reactor. The  first such NPP is the Russian Beloyarsk NPP with BN-600 and BN-800  reactors.
