Healthcare. Chepetskiy Mechanical Plant (part of Rosatom fuel division) has produced titanium rods for the treatment of complex fractures. The rods are used to make screws, which in turn are used as fixators for plates and pins for extraosseous and intraosseous osteosynthesis. These are operations performed to connect fragments of fractured bones. The quality of the rods ensures reliability, durability and resistance to corrosion of implants.
