Icebreakers. The first RITM-200 reactor for the serial new-generation Yakutia icebreaker has been manufactured and prepared for shipment at the production site of JSC ZiO-Podolsk (part of Rosatom) The reactor weighs 147.5 tons, its height is 7.3 meters, and diameter is 3.3 meters. Yakutia is the fourth icebreaker of the Project 22220 and it will be put into operation in 2025. Two more icebreakers are being built: Ural (2022) and Chukotka (2026). Arktika and Siberia of the same project are already operating. All Project 22220 icebreakers are equipped with two RITM 200 reactors with a capacity of 175 MW each. The dual-draft design allows the vessels to be used both in Arctic waters and in the mouths of polar rivers.
