Icebreakers. The nuclear icebreaker Ural went on its first voyage on December 2. At the end of November, Ural became a part of Atomflot (part of Rosatom). It it the seventh nuclear-powered icebreaker in Russia and the third icebreaker of the 22220 project. This project has the ability to change draft in order to enter estuaries and shallow waters. Also, at the end of November, the fourth icebreaker of the new generation Yakutia was launched. It already has RITM-200 nuclear reactors and almost all the main equipment installed. The vessel is scheduled to be commissioned in December 2024.
