Icebreakers. ZiO-Podolsk (part of Rosatom) has begun assembling the second RITM-200 reactor for Chukotka, the fifth icebreaker of the new project 22220. Specialists have begun welding the first circumferential seam on the half-vessel of the reactor. Welding goes continuously for 7 days with constant heating of the metal up to 200 degrees. Today, Rosatom has seven nuclear icebreakers, three of them belong to the new project 22220. Two more icebreakers of this project are being built, as well as a super-icebreaker Rossiya.
