ITER. Russia sent a PF1 magnetic coil for the international fusion reactor ITER. This is one of the six poloidal field coils in the magnetic system, which serve to confine the plasma in the ITER reactor. PF1 is the largest superconducting object ever made in Russia. Russia will manufacture and supplie 25 systems of the most complex high-tech equipment for the ITER project.
