ITER. Efremov Research Institute of Electrophysical Equipment (part of Rosatom) set about the acceptance tests on a full-size prototype of the first-wall panel for the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER). The tests started with geometric measurements to obtain actual dimensions of the product and build its 3D model. The model will be integrated into a virtual assembly of the reactor to check for compatibility with other components. The first-wall panel prototype will also pass static and dynamic pressure tests and a hot helium leak test by the end of this year.
