Kudankulam NPP. Rusatom Automated Control Systems (part of Rosatom) shipped a number of APCS systems and electrical equipment for the Indian nuclear power plant Kudankulam. The equipment is intended for the Unit 3 & 4 of the station under construction. In particular, the means of operational dispatch control systems, systems for radiation monitoring, control and management of water treatment, and fire protection were shipped. Also, a batch of electrical equipment for the reactor control and protection system and 189 cabinets of low-voltage complete devices were shipped. Kudankulam NPP is a nuclear power plant equipped with the VVER-1000 reactors. Two units of the station are already in operation, four more are being built by Rosatom.
