Medicine. Rosatom has registered the Russian radiopharmaceutical Technetium Generator GT-5K in Belarus. Technetium-99m generators are used in the diagnosis of oncological, cardiological, neuroendocrine and other diseases. Technetium-99m, which has a half-life of 6 hours, is the most popular isotope in nuclear medicine; more than 80% of procedures in gamma cameras are performed on its basis. Diagnosis using radiopharmaceuticals makes it possible to detect diseases at an early stage.
