Medicine. Rosatom has signed an agreement with the Egyptian company Med Pharma Group at the Pan-African Exhibition and Conference Africa Health ExCon 2023 in Cairo. The parties agreed to develop further scientific and technical cooperation and introduce the use of nitrogen monoxide based on the Tianox apparatus in Egypt. Tianox is a unique Russian unit for nitric oxide therapy for adults and children, including newborns. The device synthesizes nitric oxide, delivers it to the patient and controls concentration. Tianox, laser and electric coagulators used in surgery, Onyx linear accelerator, Brachium brachytherapy complex, cyclotron complexes and other products were also presented at the expo.
