New  Nuclear. The ceremony of pouring the first concrete was held at the  construction site of the Chinese Tianwan NPP Unit 8. This NPP is the  largest project of Russian-Chinese cooperation. Russia has built the  first four units of the NPP with VVER-1000 reactors. In 2019, a contract  was signed for the construction of units 7 and 8 with VVER-1200  reactors – their construction is underway.
