Northern Sea Route. Rosatom is considering entering into an agreement with the UAE on the establishment of the international transit container route on the Northern Sea Route (NSR), said the head of Rosatom Alexey Likhachev. Rosatom is the infrastructure operator of the NSR. In 2021, Rosatom signed an agreement with DP World (controlled by the government of the emirate of Dubai) to develop pilot container traffic between North-Western Europe and East Asia using the backbone transport infrastructure in the Arctic.
