Paks II NPP. Two power reactors to be built in Hungary are Europe’s largest nuclear project that has received a construction license. This was pointed out by Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjártó at a meeting with Rosatom chief Alexey Likhachev. Likhachev and Szijjártó visited the new construction site and praised the pace and scope of the work carried out. During the meeting, the parties drew up a construction schedule for the Paks II power units for the next few years. The project entered an erection stage this August. About 900 people will be working on the plant site by the end of the year, with staff numbers reaching 10,000-13,000 at the peak of work.
