PopSci. The ATOM pavilion, Russia’s largest outreach exhibition on nuclear energy, was opened in Moscow. With three underground and four above-ground floors and a total area of over 25,000 square meters, the pavilion has room for more than 2,000 people at a time. The exhibition display is divided into several areas, each dedicated to the different stages of nuclear energy development and the latest achievements. “Increasingly more economic sectors use the strengths of nuclear power. For our country, this industry is associated with the history of great discoveries, achievements, scientific breakthroughs, and outstanding people,” said Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. The pavilion was built with support from Rosatom.
