The Belarusian nuclear watchdog issued a permit to begin the power start-up stage, which allows starting a step-by-step increase in the power of the reactor plant up to 40%. “The permit confirms that all the neutron-physical characteristics of the reactor facility of the second power unit correspond to the design ones, and the reactor neutron power monitoring and control systems operate efficiently and reliably,” said Vitaly Polyanin, Vice President of ASE, Director of the project for the construction of the Belarusian NPP.
