Production. Rosatom’s mechanical engineering division manufactured a fixed-bed reactor, type 710-R-101, to operate as part of the kerosene and diesel fuel hydrotreating unit. The hydrotreater will annually produce 2.2 million tonnes of low-sulfur kerosene and Euro-5 diesel fuel. The internal volume of the reactor is 464 cubic meters. It will be installed at the site of the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery. “Along with delivering on the nuclear industry tasks, Rosatom mechanical engineers make a substantial contribution to the modernization of other strategic sectors,” said Igor Kotov, Head of Rosatom’s mechanical engineering division.
