Rooppur NPP. Work on concreting the outer containment at the Rooppur NPP Unit 1 was completed 45 days ahead of schedule, taking 110 days instead of 155. Earlier, the outer and inner parts of the deflector of the passive heat removal system was mounted in the design position. The operation is particularly complicated since during the installation of these metal structures weighing 140 and 110 tons each, maximum deviations of only up to 10 mm are allowed.
