Rooppur NPP. Rosatom assembled an outer containment dome at Rooppur Unit 2 within a record short time of two days. The 129-ton 34.5-meter round upper section of the dome was installed on top of the building at the height of 57.1 meters. The total height of the building reached 63.9 meters. Made of reinforced concrete, the outer containment is a leak-tight safety structure. It protects the reactor from external impacts and prevents radiation leaks in any circumstances. Rosatom is building a nuclear power plant with two VVER-1200 reactors in Bangladesh.
