The Petrozavodsk branch of AEM-Technologies (part of the Rosatom machine-building division) performed an enlarged assembly of the main circulation pump units (MCPU) for the Chinese Tianwan NPP. The MCPU is a first-class safety product that ensures the circulation of the coolant from the reactor to the steam generators. Tianwan NPP is the largest project of the Russian-Chinese economic cooperation. Rosatom has built the first four units of the station with the construction of units 7 and 8 with VVER-1200 reactors is underway.
