The reactor containment shell was loaded onto the Yakutia nuclear icebreaker, which is currently under construction.  The protective shell, consisting of eight sections, weighs 220 tons.  This is a kind of “sarcophagus” that ensures the safety of personnel during the operation of the reactor.  Yakutia is the fourth vessel of the Project 22220, which is being built at the Baltic Shipyard for Rosatom.
