The reactor vessel of the Kudankulam NPP Unit 3 in India, which is being built by Rosatom, has been installed in the design position.  This is a key event, after which the installation of the equipment of the reactor begins.  Two units with VVER-1000 reactors with a capacity of 1000 MW each are already in operation with four more units under construction.
