Tianwan NPP. The Izhora plant (part of Rosatom) carried out heat treatment of pressure compensator half-shells for the Tianwan NPP Unit 7 (China). The upper semi-hull consists of a shell and a bottom, the lower one consists of three shells and a bottom. An anti-corrosion layer is welded onto the inner surface of each of the elements, and mechanical processing is performed. After assembly and welding, the shells and bottoms of the semi-hull underwent heat treatment. Rosatom is constructing two units with VVER-1200 reactors at the Tianwan NPP.
