Tianwan NPP. The Special Research Institute of Instrument Engineering of Rosatom delivered a simulator for personnel training at the Chinese Tianwan NPP. Rosatom participates in the construction of Units 7 and 8 with VVER-1200 reactors. The operational personnel of the units will be trained using a software and hardware modeling complex equipped with exact copies of real block and backup control panels, integrated into a single software and hardware complex with a full-scale mathematical model of a real power unit. With the help of the simulator, it will be possible to carry out training and licensing, as well as to maintain the qualifications of the operating personnel of the NPP block control panels.
