Tianwan NPP. The reactor pressure vessel for Tianwan Unit 7 built in China with Rosatom’s input arrived at the construction site. It took less than two months to deliver the 334.2-ton 12-meter long vessel from Russia to China by sea. A day earlier, four steam generators, three main circulation pump casings and a suppression pool were delivered to the site. The Tianwan NPP is the largest economic cooperation project between Russia and China. At present, two Russian-designed power units (Units 7 and 8) with VVER-1200 reactors are under construction on the site. Another four units with Russian-designed VVER-1000 reactors built earlier are in successful operation.
